Financial Hardship Policy

Attorneys who wish to attend an AAM course, but for whom the cost of the course would be a financial hardship, may apply for a full or partial waiver of the course fee.

Such application may be in the form of a letter from the requesting attorney clearly demonstrating the financial hardship and stating the specific amount of the waiver sought. The letter must be signed by the requesting attorney, accompanied by a completed registration form, and received in the AAM offices at least 14 days prior to the commencement of the course.

The granting of a waiver is strictly at the sole discretion of AAM and will be awarded only to qualified attorneys, only for a limited number of applicants, and only when space is available.
