Additional Qualifications
Jeff Rose brings the insight, experience and patience to help you resolve any dispute. As a graduate of the Harvard Negotiation Program and Mediators and Arbitrators of America, Jeff is a certified Texas mediator. Prior to starting his mediation practice, Jeff helped resolve thousands of cases serving as a Texas Judge for twelve years - first as a District Judge and then handling one of the state’s most complex dockets as Chief Justice of the Texas Third Court of Appeals based in Austin. Even today, Jeff is called on by the Texas court system to serve as a visiting judge in trial and appellate courts across the state.

Prior to taking the bench, Jeff was an accomplished trial lawyer, earning Board Certification in Civil Trial Law and recognition four times as a Texas Super Lawyer. Jeff served as Chief of General Litigation for the State of Texas and Deputy First Assistant Attorney General under Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, handling some of the state’s most important and complex disputes. Prior to public service, Jeff was a partner in a large Texas firm where he represented clients in a broad range of litigation matters.

Jeff’s service to the community, the public, his clients, and his fellow lawyers gives him the right set of tools to help you resolve your most difficult cases. He is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Association, and he has been active in the Austin Bar Association as a Director and through the community service and continuing legal education committees. Jeff has also given back to the Austin community, and in particular to children in need, through his leadership roles in Big Brothers/Big Sisters, The Rise School of Austin, The Sportsman’s Club of Austin, and the Capitol Area Food Bank.
